How Much Are Garbage Pail Kids Cards Worth?
Short answer: most Garbage Pail Kids cards are worth $2 to $10 raw (ungraded), a PSA 8 of a common 1985 card sells for about $60, and a PSA 10 of a 1985 card sells for about $511. The expensive ones are the 1985 Series 1 stars in PSA 10: Cooper Flagg has sold for as much as $288,000. This page is built from 21,047 recorded GPK sales in the last 12 months, not from a guess, and it is rebuilt every day.
What decides the value
- Year and series. 1985 Series 1 and 2 are worth the most; 1986 to 1988 fall off fast because far more were printed and saved.
- Condition and grade. A PSA 10 can be 10 to 50 times a PSA 8 of the same card. Centering and the sticker back are what usually hold a card under 10.
- Variation. Glossy backs, checklist backs and error cards from 1985 carry a premium; later parallels (Chrome refractors, Sapphire colors, Bowman GPK superfractors) can be worth more than the base card by a lot.
- Who graded it. PSA prices lead; the guide also tracks SGC, CGC and BGS slabs.

Raw (ungraded) cards
Raw 1985 cards sold for a median of $10 each in the last year (25,716 sales); 1986 cards for about $2, 1987 about $2 and 1988 about $3. Condition still matters raw: a sharp, well-centered 1985 Nasty Nick or Adam Bomb brings far more than a creased one. See the raw card price guide for every card.

How to find your card's value
Type the name or number into the search box (for example "Adam Bomb" or "8a"), or enter a PSA cert number. Each card page shows the value for every grade, PSA population, the recorded sales behind the value, and what is live on eBay right now. The rankings list every graded card from most to least valuable.
Every figure on this page is read from recorded sales and PSA population data in the GPK Price Guide database and rebuilt daily (last build Oct 08, 2026). Values are whole dollars; sale prices are what the slab actually sold for.
